Welcome to Smiley Day Photography!   

I believe family is a gift to be cherished. Children glide through life’s stages quickly, each so beautiful in their own unique and precious way. Perhaps you’re like me and take a lot of photos of your children because you want to hold onto these memories. But, when you stop and look through them  there are hardly any with yourself in the photos having fun with them and those you do have are selfies.  Sound familiar?  

Childhood can’t be choreographed, but…

…you can give children (and grown ups) space and permission to run races together, jump off logs, play in leaves together, dance in glorious natural light, explore nature in a beautiful outdoor location, tickle each other, pull funny faces together, enjoy a snack or a little picnic together, have cuddles and “I love you” moments.

My aim is that a family photo shoot will be just that: a smiley, happy, fun day out for you as a family. (That’s why I like to call them “Smiley Days” instead of photo shoots.)  Leave the photography to me and enjoy some quality time together and make happy memories that you’ll want to print and hang on your walls. 

For spectacular family photo shoots, in gorgeous seasonal settings like daffodils, bluebells and fiery Autumn leaves, make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.
